Letters of a Revivalist

This is a little late but better late than never. I realize that there might be days that I cannot write a blog. Yesterday was one of those days. I was up till 6:00 am preparing stuff for my product table to take with me to camp meeting. A lot of people don't understand. If I dont preach we (Rhonda, Colton, Faith, and Rebekah) dont eat. Ok that might be a little overboard but its still the truth. LOL

When I dont do revivals I cant pay bills, pastors salaries that we have on staff in other countries, and clothes for the triplets. Needless to say the product table helps greatly. Sometimes it is our bread and butter.

Today I am leaving for camp meeting and I am looking forward to a great and powerful time. See old friends and meet new ones. Rhonda is staying home this round. I was going to take the RV and stay but I have a friend who is going so I am going to ride back and forth with him, it is only about an hour and half from the house.

I am also excited about getting the Smith Wigglesworth CD's. That will be a highlight of the week. I have preached so much about Smith Wigglesworth I feel like I almost know him. Now I will get to hear him preach.

I still have a lot to do before I leave at 2:00 pm. Iron clothes, shave, etc.

It's a wrap! I finished the last song of our new CD project, "Preach the Word." The last song I did is a song I have wanted to do for many years, "I Bowed on My Knees." I was saving the toughest for last. Tomorrow I will be printing and making copies of the CD getting them ready for Camp Meeting at Christ For the World in Fort Smith, AR.

I have really been fighting a battle today. I believe God has more doors out there than I could ever open but it is so hard to wait sometimes. I hang on to the verse in 2 Cor. 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; I know most of the church goes through long and difficult afflictions, but I would rather be like Paul. I know that the affliction I am in is light and just for a moment. God is going to start opening doors that no man can close.

I also got some great news today or great photos today. My oldest son Bryan is in Iraq and Ashley (my daughter in-law) sent me some pictures of him today. Every time I get a pic of him I put in on my desktop and every time I look at him I pray for his safety and thank God I have a son that is willing to fight and even die for my freedom and freedom of others. Thank you Bryan!

It has been a long day and tomorrow there is still much more to do. I have to press all my suites for camp meeting and get my table product ready.

I want to thank everyone for their prayers and I hope you are enjoying the music that is playing on our web page and my space. The page links are at the top of the page.

I also encourage you to leave posts and thoughts of what God is sharing with you.

Letters of a Revivalist

Praise the Lord I am almost finished with our newest CD project. I have to mix Rhonda's song and add one more. If you would like to hear a few of the songs you can check out my myspace and hear four of the new songs. It is a relief to get this project over with. I have been working on it almost a week. That is the longest it has ever taken me to finish a project but with triplets running around everywhere it can be a bit hectic.

I have been praying all day for a couple of things that we desperatly need. One thing is a better RV. We travel in a 32' RV that is a 1992 model. It has served its purpose. The trailor is getting a little small with no slide outs. I was talking to a man the other day and he was telling me they make 45' travel trailor with a couple of slide outs. What a wonderful blessing that would be to be able to take my family on the road and have some extra roo. If you are an intercessor reading this please pray for this to happen for us.

The second thing I have been petitioning the Lord for is a bigger tent. I have a been using a 40' X 40' it can seat 120 people. I know that is a lot for this day but I have seen if filled several times. I am believing for a 48' X 70' Oval tent. It can seat almost 350 people. In todays society looks can be essential to people coming to a tent revival.

Me Preaching in my 40' X 40' tent

As I was thinking about these two major things that the ministry needs I heard the word of the Lord say, "all it takes is one person listening to me." That is a sermon in its self but what the Lord was saying to me is, "Just one person listening to God could provide every need this ministry has." I believe that just one divine contact can turn a persons ministry around.

It took TD Jakes to take a hair dresser by the name of Jaunita Bynum and helps push her into one of the nations foremost women ministers.

I know that God has my TD Jakes if you will that is going to help me take the name of Jesus to all the nations of the earth.

The same with any minister, just one person can make a difference in your ministry. Start prophecying that divine connection. Mine is on their way and yours can too. Who knows how the Holy Spirit can bring this in the path of someone who has been praying diligently "Lord how can my wealth make a difference." DIVINE CONNECTIONS - That is what the Kingdom of God is about.

Praise God for His many blessings that He shared with His children. There are times that you know that God is opening heaven over you. You dont necessarily feel it but you just know it. Toay has been a good day. I even got a nap.
I went to bed about 3:30 am and got up at 8:30 am. I preached this morning on Dare to Dream. God loves dreamers. I will never forget the first time I started dreaming about going to Africa. I was in a service and a mighty woman of God, Gwen Shaw laid her hands on me and commissioned me to take the Word of God to the nations. I didnt understand all of it but I knew that a dream had been planted. That is all I could think about. The next day at a funeral in Fort Gibson, OK, Mike Reed came up to me and asked me if I would come to Uganda Africa where he was about to be a resident missionary with the IPHC.
Before I went I met a young man that full of vision and full of the Holy Ghost. His name was Herber Kuuku. He was over 50 churches in Uganda. When I arrived at the airport in Uganda, he was there to meet me. We have since been friends and this November when I return for my third time I will be doing a pastors conference for the churches that he is over.

Apostle Herbert Kuuku

I am almost finished with my CD project I have to cut one more song and Rhonda has to cut her song and we are finished. It is probably my best project that I have ever done. We are also getting ready for this summers tent revivals. I call it the preperation of the Gospel. It takes a lot we are building a new platform with a very nice background.

I will have a lot to do to the RV. I have to clean it and get it ready for camp meeting this week at Christ for the World in Fort Smith, AR

If you are interested in hearing a few songs of our CD project you can hear them on myspace. The web page is www.myspace.com/apostletj

I also want to say that we are having great response from our blogs. We appreciate everyone and what they are doing to help us build the Kingdom of God.

Letters of a Revivalist

Ok I am getting really restless. I have been home for almost two weeks and I am going crazy. One good thing about being at home I always have a place to preach on Sundays and special events. When I turned the church that I was pastoring over to Jerry and Linda Watts their was an understanding that when I did come home I would get the opportunity to minister as much as I liked.

I really appreciate people who keep their word. Every time I am at home he always asks if I want to minister on Sunday am services. I don't always say yes but I appreciate him asking.

Back to the going crazy. I love revival, I love the excitement, the anticipation of that nights meeting. When I am in a tent revival I will spend a lot of the day just underneath the tent. I have seen so many miracles take place and I believe because of the prayer and saturation of the anointing. If there is one thing I know its the power of the anointing. I try not to preach when I am writing these blogs but when I know something I like to share it.

The anointing is tangible and transferable. I have salt services, anointing oil services, and prayer clothe services because I believe one needs to transfer the anointing. I get calls all the time about the power of prayer clothes.

One I will share. About three monts ago I got an email from a pastor in Kagoma, Uganda, Africa. I was there last August in a service and I handed out prayer clothes that I had been wearing on my body while I was preaching. A few months later a woman, who had taken a prayer clothes, baby got violently sick. She took the child to the hospital who said there was not hope that the child was going to die. She took the child home and remembered the prayer clothe that I gave her. She boiled the clothe in water and put the water in the babies bottle. The moment that the bottle touched the child's lips the baby became instantly whole. PRAISE GOD for the anointing.

Meeting in Kagoma Uganda where prayer clothe was handed out
I took Rhonda out to eat at her favorite Mexican Resteraunt. She loves good Mexican Food. I also talked to a couple of preachers today. I try to network with as many men and women of God I can. I believe that is one of the greatest weaknesses in the area of what I am doing. There is so little networking! I think it is because most have the lone ranger mentality. I have asked people to go into a tent revival or a conference together but with no avail.

I don't understand but I guess many have their reasons. I pray I stay open to being used and not closed to ministering with others.

Monday I will start working on the RV and getting it ready for Camp Meeting at Christ for the World and then the revival at Texas Road Worship Center in Fort Smith, AR
