Today is Nobember 24, 2008 I am in the interior of Uganda in a town by the name of Mubende. I have been holding crusades in a village about 20 minutes from here. There has been miracles that have taken place and many have come to the Lord to recieve Jesus as their saviour.

It is 2:45 in the afternoon and we are in the middle of a rains storm. This morning I was in a Pastor's Conference and I taught about the Five Fold Ministry.

I have had an uncomfortable time, last night I had a tooth that broke and it is causing me much pain. I dont dare go to the dentist here, but I am believing God for a mighty miracle. He is the God of miracles.

Already a man with a tumor in his stomach that was protruding was healed the powerful name of Jesus. Another man was having great pain in his leg. He came yesterday to the meeting that God had healed him the night before in the crusade.

I am sorry I cant post a picture the internet speed is horrible it took me 15 minutes to get this page up. I will be here for a couple of more days. The lodge I am staying in is nice, but it aint the Hilton. LOL Beside this I broke Rhonda's new camera. I can tell you I am in big trouble.

God is moving and the reports of miracles are flooding in. As I was being transported to the meeting my host Apostle Herbert Kukuu told me, "No one can sleep the people are so excited about the anointing." When you hear reports like this it makes it worth your pain, your homesickness, and hunger worth while.

I praise God for the opportunity to serve God in this fashion.

I really miss Rhonda, she is always by my side. In most tent revivals and revivals across the US she is with me, she truly is the love of my life and my best friend.

Please keep me in your prayers and I will try to post tomorrow again.

No Agenda But His

Today is a post of blog for 11/21/08 Some of these blogs might show a different date because of the time difference that we share. It's 5 am here and 8 pm at home in Arkansas. I had one of my best trips by plane that I can remember. Maybe it is because I slept most of the way from Amsterdam and that might be the reason I am awake now. That and because there are a vast amount of mosquitos in my room.

I arrived at Entebbe, Uganda at 9:10 PM got my luggage and was met by Pastor Robert Kaddu. Pastor Robert is the Pastor of Grace Church in Kampala. They had rented me a vehicle and came to pick me up. Unfortunately for us they rented him a lemon. On the way to Kampala the car overheated and we were stranded on the side of the highway.

So let me see, Mosquito infested room, stranded on side of the highway, I haven't heard from Rhonda in over 24 hours. This is going to be a great missionary trip.

I will leave in the morning for a healing crusade with Apostle Herbert Kukuu. Herbert is a young man in his early 30's. He is over 60 some churches in Uganda and many more in Kenya. I met him 4 or 5 years ago on the internet. A few years before I ever planned on coming to Uganda. This will be my first time to minister with his affiliation. We will begin at 3 PM on November 22nd (Saturday) and go until, well only God knows. There will be miracle after miracle and I will pray for the sick until I am totally exhausted. We will be traveling to Mubenda a 4 hour journey to the west of Kampala. I will also be doing a pastors conference and crusades every night. I will be preaching 3 to 4 times a day. Please keep me in your prayers as I labour for the master and build the kingdom of God.

I appreciate all who read these and I ask you to leave a post so we can get some great things generated. I am going to do my best to post once a day and read the other posts.
God bless you and I will see you tomorrow.

Letters of a Revivalist

Praise God His mercies endure forever. I am so excited about the new book that God has given me, "When Faith Touches the Anointing." I go and pick up the first printing of it tomorrow. I have a better more complete book coming out by June, but I wanted to get a print out before Sunday when I preach at Christ for the World. I am preaching Apostle Bobby Hogans birthday celebration.

The tent revival is going good. We have had some resistance from a pastor but I am praying God will enlighten him. A lot of his church has been coming to the tent and he came when Prophetess Brenda preached and he doesn't like women preachers. As I always say, "Get Over it."

TJ preaching Monday Night
I have had a terrible sore throat for the past two days. I thank God for His power to overcome the flesh and pains that we feel. Tonight I preached a message about going through the fire. Several people were touched as they realized in the middle of their hell Jesus is waiting for them.

Part of the tent crowd

I spent part of the day getting video ready to put on television. I am going to start broadcasting video all over the world through www.GodTube.com . I am very excited to get that started as God gives me a new venue to preach His word.

Many people have been touched by the Hand of God in these meetings tonight was no different. A man with gout in his feet came for prayer and the healing power of God touched his body. On the way out of the tent he was saying, "I already feel so much better." Praise God for His healing power.

TJ ministering in prayer line

Tomorrow night I will be having a salt service. I am believing that many miracles are going to take place in this powerful service.

Letters of a Revivalist

The tent services have been amazing. Last Monday night there was a mighty move of God. We didnt leave the tent until 11:00 pm. People acting like it was the day of Pentecost. I Preached on How 2008 is going to be a year of the Harvest.

People were blessed, marching around the tent, Praise God for His wonderful move.

The tent has been having 35-40 people a night. There has been rain and it looks like rain now. It reminds of the tent revival in Tahlequah, OK last year. We were there 21 days and it rained every day but two.

The triplets are having a blast. Colton came up for prayer last night it is so wonderful to see a three year old get caught up in what God is doing. He is going to be a mighty apostle one day.

Faith, Colton, and Rebekah

Rebekah is spending the week with maw-ma. That is Rhonda's mom. I am going to ministering Thursday and Friday night. Thursday I will be handing out green prosperity clothes and Friday we will be having a salt service.

I am also going to have a prophetic seminar Saturday at 11:00am. The Holy Spirit spoke to me and told me that the prophetic is, "The ability to open up heaven on earth through an action or a word." I am expecting a wonderful time

Letters of a Revivalist
Unfortunately for me writing these blogs takes more time than what I thought. I know it has been two days since the last blog but I have been swamped. We started the Holy Ghost Tent Revival Friday with a pretty good crowd.
The weather was cool but the fire of the Holy Ghost warmed things up. I preached that we are living under the privelage that God has for us. Many people were touched and lives were changed.
I am going to start getting pictures so you can see the results and what the meetings are like. I am doing this revival with Prophetess Brenda Jeffery. She preached a powerful message on It's Time to Repent.
We doubled in size of the congregation with about 40 in attendance. I am thinking this is pretty good with the little advertisement that we have had.
Today Sunday, I preached in Mena and then came to a 7:00 pm service at Texas Road Worship Center Pastor Jerry Lee Anderson. He had a special service of nailing your needs to the cross.
We have finally arrived back to our RV and I have checked the tent out and all is well. Tomorrow I am going to start getting things back in order and get hold of a Southern Gosple Radio Station 88.9 FM here in Fort Smith about some advertisement.
All of our meetings are filmed on High quality DVD so if you want a set of these services you can purchase a whole week for $50.00
I believing for God to come and rain His Power on us in this tent meeting. If you would like more information about these meetings email me at apostletj@gmail.com
Tomorrow I will have pictures and you will be able to see what is happening in this powerful Holy Ghost Tent Revival.

Letters of a Revivalist

Praise the Lord I got my tent stretched with little droop. I am praying and believing for a new tent. I can purchase a brand new one for $6500.00 I have over half of it saved and we have been saving for the last 3 months. I am believing God to give the increase so we can take our tent revivals to a new limit. I bought 125 new chairs a couple of months ago and have 80 more to go with them.

I am also looking at buying a couple of tent heaters for $700.00 each. They will bring a tent to over 70 degrees F when it is 30 degrees outside. There is such freedom in a tent and I can follow after God instead of the rules and regulations of man.

In our next monthly newsletter I am going to bring it to my covenant partners that we need $3000.00 for our new tent. I know many of them will give towards the new tent. There is a great need besides how much easier it will be to put up, the new tent will be more impressive.

I am trying to post a picture of a tent but the system seems to be down right now. Tomorrow will get the rest of the tent set up and the chairs back in place. I washed the tent down tonight. Keep us in prayer and be praying with us about the tent.

Letters of a Revivalist
I am beat as well as beat up. It is 1 am in the morning and I am setting here praying Lord what did I do to deserve a square tent? I have put up several tents in my life and this is the 10th time I have put this tent up and every time the same problem. It is such a pain. God give me another tent.
Anyways besides the frustration there is great victory. Rhonda with Colton and Rebekah (Faith stayed with Rhonda's parents). arrived in Spiro around 3:00 pm. Rhonda drove the Ford f250 and I drove the f-350. We got the trailor set up and started working on the tent. The guy I am purchasing electric and water from came over and told me not to worry about paying him. He just wanted to bless our ministry. Praise God!
At midnight I was still fighting with the tent. I am praying God will send someone to buy a 48X70 tent. I know with God all things are possible.
I even ordered and watched a DVD on how to put it up but to no avail.
To God be the glory because of His faithfullness to us.
I guess I better go I just fell asleep.
Revivalist TJ Tipton
Letters of a Revivalist

Ok its 2:38 am and our house is in total chaos. When I say that I want you to understand that every time we start loading the camper Rhonda spends at least 4-5 hours getting the triplets clothes ready.

I spend just as much time cleaning and getting everything that has to go ready to go, and if that doesn't top it off ITS A TENT REVIVAL so we must get the tent, chairs, poles, curtains, PA system ( need a new pa head) and all the extra stuff we need to take to make the tent revival happen.

I had to mow the lawn today as well as make sure that the neighbors new we would be gone for a while. I dont forsee us coming home at all until after June the 23rd. I am believing that we are going to get caught up in one of the greatest revivals I have ever been in. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if we moved into an air condition building of some kind.

I can't spend long writing this Rhonda has just got the triplets laying down. They get so excited when it comes time to leave.

Faith, Colton, and Rebekah ready for the road and to do revival

We also went to a tent revival in Waldron, AR. I dont know what I would do if I didnt have any musical experience. Those who dont unless they have people with them that can play I am sure become frustrated. There was no music except for a CD that they sung by. That is fine if it is all you have, but I pray the Lord will send someone to help them out.

As I listened to the minister speak I could tell he had been hurt by the church. It makes me sad but I have been there also and I love the church and know the church is the only hope this world has.

I must get my computer packed but wanted to write this blog before I tore it down. The next blog I write will be on the road and hopefully under the tent.

Letters of a Revivalist
Wow it has been a very busy three days. We have been in revival at my inlaws church with Prophetess Brenda Jeffery. She did an amazing job as God used her to prophecy into lives that needed the change of God to take place.
Over the past year I have been working on a book. The name of it is, "When Faith Touches the Anointing." I just finished it today. I sent it to the proof reader in Indiana and am also waiting for the forward from Apostle Bobby Hogan.
Speaking of Apostle Hogan, Sunday April 27, 2008 Christ for the World will be having a birthday celebration for the man of God. In honour of his birthday they are going to be having a free dinner after services. I had the honour to be asked to preach at Bobby's birthday celebration service. What an honour! I mean just to get to preach at one of the most fired up Holy Ghost Churches in America is honour enought but to be able to preach at his birthday celebration is such a compliment to the gift of God that is in me. I want to invite all that can to come to this birthday celebration.
I have got a lot done by being home the past couple of weeks. I got our new CD project done, "Preach the Word." I got the book finished, "When Faith Touches the Anointing," and now I have to finish the camper so I can leave Tuesday morning to go to Spiro to set up the tent for our first tent revival in 2008.
If you would like a copy of our new book please contact me by email or leave a comment and we will make arrangements to get the book to you. The cost per book will be $10.00 plus a $2.00 shipping and handling.
In the next few days I will be posting pictures of the tent and what work goes on to putting up the gospel tent.

Letters of a Revivalist
It's getting closer, I am starting to get excited about the tent revival in Spiro, OK. We have made the final preperations for the site with electric and water. The location will be 19346 Hwy 271. The tent will be on a corner lot next to JJ's Service Station on the East side of Spiro going towards Fort Smith, AR.
We had an awesome service tonight at the Country Church where Prophetess Brenda Jeffery is in a weekend meeting. A powerful move of God from the beginning to the end lives forever changed by the prophetic word of God.
I have been on cloud nine since last Sundays service. I wasn't able to post yesterday because I was in Fort Smith, AR at Christ for the World working on their video equipment and on the way back I stopped at a tent revival that i had seen on the way in. Needless to say I was wore out by the time that I got home.
Next Monday thru Wednesday I will be fasting for the tent revival and also for some of the needs that our covenant partners have sent in. I usually dont share these things but since this is a daily event of what is going on I felt it was ok to share when I fast, pray, and other spiritual things that take place.
I am also really behind on my Bible reading probably about 8 chapters. With the campmeeting and everything the two nights of revival at Jerry Lee's and now this weekend meeting at the Country Church I have really got behind. I will have to catch up. I am determined to get the Bible read all the way through in the next 6 months.
I am also getting excited about my Africa trip to Uganda. I am believing every penny that is needed is going to manifest forth. I was talking with a prophet friend and he was telling to start pulling my future into my NOW! It was powerful what he was saying. I am praying that the Holy Spirit will teach me how to do this. I was studying and God showed me how that he brought Pentecost which was thousands or years away into his now. If your interested in finding out how let me know.

Letters of a Revivalist
Its 2:00 am and I am not in bed yet. We were in Fort Smith today and I have to go back in the morning. Thats $40.00 US every time I make that trip. I have to go by Spiro, OK and check out the land where we are putting the tent.
Tonight in services at Texas Road Worship Center the tornado sirens went off. We bound the storm and continued on with church. I am planning to go back tomorrow night. The Friday Prophetess Brenda Jeffery will be at the Country Church Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I will be doing the praise and worship.
I want to quickly share a word from the Lord that He has been dealing with me.
PROPHETIC WORD:
The Lord started releasing a word to me about how He is going to bring different ministries into new levels by using individuals who can plant seed and bring increase into ministries . There are ministries who need to be able to do more but there is lack in finances. A definition that I use regularly is the word Frustration. Frustration is vision without provision. In other words Rhonda and I save all year long to go to Uganda. The cost is usually around $7000 US. This year however it will be about $12,000.00 US.
What would happen if someone came to me and said, "TJ, I want to pay your missionary trip to Uganda because I believe in what you are doing." That gift would take us into a new level. We could use that money for radio and TV. Shortwave radio could take the message of Christ around the world. I have two TV stations that we can put our message on for just $100.00 a week. One person could take this ministry into a new level. One person could take your ministry into a new level. Are you ready for your new level?

Letters of a Revivalist

Man today was such a great day. I GOT TO REST! After such a powerful weekend I took a day off. It was much needed. I am so thankful I have a wife that understands and let me rest. SOOOOOOO tomorrow I have to get back with it.

I also started a diet today. Yeah I know they never work out but I am going to try. I will stay about 1500 calories a day and work out daily. I did that back in 2002 and lost 50 plus pounds. As busy as I stay I need to get some of this weight off. I know I will feel better.

We found a place for the tent in Spiro, OK and Prophetess Brenda is going to check on utilities tomorrow. I am leaving Thursday to spend the day in Fort Smith helping Christ for the World with their new video equipment or their editing suite.

I will then go to Texas Road Worship Center they are in revival there and I love the Pastor Jerry Lee Anderson. He is one of the best keyboard players I have ever heard. I love playing with him.

The Devil Killer - Prophet Jerry Lee Anderson

The picture above was take at the church I was pastoring a few years ago. We had a great time. Here is also a link to hear Jerry Lee sing: www.jerryleeanderson.com/roses.html
He has other links you can listen to also. He is one of my dearest friends and I appreciate him and his wife Jodi very much. In matter of fact I will be in revival at Texas Road Worship Center the first of November of 2008.
Tomorrow I have to clean the truck and finish what I started on the camper. I will be pulling out Tuesday morning to go set up the tent in Spiro, OK. Tomorrow I will try to share a prophetic word that the Lord has been dealing with me about.
Until then

Letters of a Revivalist

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah I know its been four days and I have not got a new blog up. My schedule for the last four days has been Up at 7:30 am and asleep usually by 2:30 or 3:00am. Because I wanted to stay with Rhonda and the triplets I drove back and forth everyday to camp meeting. That in its self was an 1:45 minute drive.

I won't write a lot but there is so much to write about. Thursday, Friday and Saturday were some of the most awesome services. At every altar call I played the keyboards and sung. It was so great to play with such talented musicians. I believe everyone of them could be studio musicians Bobby Hogan is so blessed to have so many wonderful musicians. I would sing at least and hour and half every night while the speaker would minister and it did not fail that people would stay and dance, cry, pray, and get caught up in the Spirit for and hour or better after the minister would pray for those who came to the altar.

SUNDAY was truly one of the best services that I have ever been in. The service started at 3:00pm and lasted until 11:00 pm. Yes thats right the longest service I have ever been in America. Apostle Bobby Hogan, Prophetess Teresa Hogan, Prophetess Brenda Jeffery, and Myself prophesied to over 250 people. It was glorious!

It was one of weekend that I will remeber as long as I live. I kind of have a peak at what the last day revival is going to look like. When the former and the latter rain is going to be poured out by the Holy Ghost.

I will be preaching the second night of the July 4th Campmeeting. Here the information:

Apostle Bobby Hogan

Christ for the World - Summer Campmeeting

Wednesday, July 1st - Sunday, July 6th Christ For The World International Headquarters4510 Towson Ave / Fort Smith, Arkansas(Begins Tuesday night at 7:00 pm) 11:00 am daily and 7:00 pm nightly(479) 649-5970
You will want to make plans to come to these Holy Ghost filled services. I promise they will be some of the most awesome services you have ever been in. I will be driving from Pueblo, CO to be there the whole campmeeting. I would do it even if I was not ministering.
To all of you who read this blog I appreciate you and love you. Please tell others. God Bless until tomorrow.

Letters of a Revivalist

This is a little late but better late than never. I realize that there might be days that I cannot write a blog. Yesterday was one of those days. I was up till 6:00 am preparing stuff for my product table to take with me to camp meeting. A lot of people don't understand. If I dont preach we (Rhonda, Colton, Faith, and Rebekah) dont eat. Ok that might be a little overboard but its still the truth. LOL

When I dont do revivals I cant pay bills, pastors salaries that we have on staff in other countries, and clothes for the triplets. Needless to say the product table helps greatly. Sometimes it is our bread and butter.

Today I am leaving for camp meeting and I am looking forward to a great and powerful time. See old friends and meet new ones. Rhonda is staying home this round. I was going to take the RV and stay but I have a friend who is going so I am going to ride back and forth with him, it is only about an hour and half from the house.

I am also excited about getting the Smith Wigglesworth CD's. That will be a highlight of the week. I have preached so much about Smith Wigglesworth I feel like I almost know him. Now I will get to hear him preach.

I still have a lot to do before I leave at 2:00 pm. Iron clothes, shave, etc.

Tuesday, April 01, 2008

It's a wrap! I finished the last song of our new CD project, "Preach the Word." The last song I did is a song I have wanted to do for many years, "I Bowed on My Knees." I was saving the toughest for last. Tomorrow I will be printing and making copies of the CD getting them ready for Camp Meeting at Christ For the World in Fort Smith, AR.

I have really been fighting a battle today. I believe God has more doors out there than I could ever open but it is so hard to wait sometimes. I hang on to the verse in 2 Cor. 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; I know most of the church goes through long and difficult afflictions, but I would rather be like Paul. I know that the affliction I am in is light and just for a moment. God is going to start opening doors that no man can close.

I also got some great news today or great photos today. My oldest son Bryan is in Iraq and Ashley (my daughter in-law) sent me some pictures of him today. Every time I get a pic of him I put in on my desktop and every time I look at him I pray for his safety and thank God I have a son that is willing to fight and even die for my freedom and freedom of others. Thank you Bryan!

Bryan Tipton US Army in Iraq

It has been a long day and tomorrow there is still much more to do. I have to press all my suites for camp meeting and get my table product ready.

I want to thank everyone for their prayers and I hope you are enjoying the music that is playing on our web page and my space. The page links are at the top of the page.

I also encourage you to leave posts and thoughts of what God is sharing with you.

Letters of a Revivalist

Praise the Lord I am almost finished with our newest CD project. I have to mix Rhonda's song and add one more. If you would like to hear a few of the songs you can check out my myspace and hear four of the new songs. It is a relief to get this project over with. I have been working on it almost a week. That is the longest it has ever taken me to finish a project but with triplets running around everywhere it can be a bit hectic.

I have been praying all day for a couple of things that we desperatly need. One thing is a better RV. We travel in a 32' RV that is a 1992 model. It has served its purpose. The trailor is getting a little small with no slide outs. I was talking to a man the other day and he was telling me they make 45' travel trailor with a couple of slide outs. What a wonderful blessing that would be to be able to take my family on the road and have some extra roo. If you are an intercessor reading this please pray for this to happen for us.

The second thing I have been petitioning the Lord for is a bigger tent. I have a been using a 40' X 40' it can seat 120 people. I know that is a lot for this day but I have seen if filled several times. I am believing for a 48' X 70' Oval tent. It can seat almost 350 people. In todays society looks can be essential to people coming to a tent revival.

Me Preaching in my 40' X 40' tent

As I was thinking about these two major things that the ministry needs I heard the word of the Lord say, "all it takes is one person listening to me." That is a sermon in its self but what the Lord was saying to me is, "Just one person listening to God could provide every need this ministry has." I believe that just one divine contact can turn a persons ministry around.

It took TD Jakes to take a hair dresser by the name of Jaunita Bynum and helps push her into one of the nations foremost women ministers.

I know that God has my TD Jakes if you will that is going to help me take the name of Jesus to all the nations of the earth.

The same with any minister, just one person can make a difference in your ministry. Start prophecying that divine connection. Mine is on their way and yours can too. Who knows how the Holy Spirit can bring this in the path of someone who has been praying diligently "Lord how can my wealth make a difference." DIVINE CONNECTIONS - That is what the Kingdom of God is about.

Letters of a Revivalist

Praise God for His many blessings that He shared with His children. There are times that you know that God is opening heaven over you. You dont necessarily feel it but you just know it. Toay has been a good day. I even got a nap.
I went to bed about 3:30 am and got up at 8:30 am. I preached this morning on Dare to Dream. God loves dreamers. I will never forget the first time I started dreaming about going to Africa. I was in a service and a mighty woman of God, Gwen Shaw laid her hands on me and commissioned me to take the Word of God to the nations. I didnt understand all of it but I knew that a dream had been planted. That is all I could think about. The next day at a funeral in Fort Gibson, OK, Mike Reed came up to me and asked me if I would come to Uganda Africa where he was about to be a resident missionary with the IPHC.
Before I went I met a young man that full of vision and full of the Holy Ghost. His name was Herber Kuuku. He was over 50 churches in Uganda. When I arrived at the airport in Uganda, he was there to meet me. We have since been friends and this November when I return for my third time I will be doing a pastors conference for the churches that he is over.

Apostle Herbert Kuuku

I am almost finished with my CD project I have to cut one more song and Rhonda has to cut her song and we are finished. It is probably my best project that I have ever done. We are also getting ready for this summers tent revivals. I call it the preperation of the Gospel. It takes a lot we are building a new platform with a very nice background.

I will have a lot to do to the RV. I have to clean it and get it ready for camp meeting this week at Christ for the World in Fort Smith, AR

If you are interested in hearing a few songs of our CD project you can hear them on myspace. The web page is www.myspace.com/apostletj

I also want to say that we are having great response from our blogs. We appreciate everyone and what they are doing to help us build the Kingdom of God.

Letters of a Revivalist
www.thesentones.org

Ok I am getting really restless. I have been home for almost two weeks and I am going crazy. One good thing about being at home I always have a place to preach on Sundays and special events. When I turned the church that I was pastoring over to Jerry and Linda Watts their was an understanding that when I did come home I would get the opportunity to minister as much as I liked.

I really appreciate people who keep their word. Every time I am at home he always asks if I want to minister on Sunday am services. I don't always say yes but I appreciate him asking.

Back to the going crazy. I love revival, I love the excitement, the anticipation of that nights meeting. When I am in a tent revival I will spend a lot of the day just underneath the tent. I have seen so many miracles take place and I believe because of the prayer and saturation of the anointing. If there is one thing I know its the power of the anointing. I try not to preach when I am writing these blogs but when I know something I like to share it.

The anointing is tangible and transferable. I have salt services, anointing oil services, and prayer clothe services because I believe one needs to transfer the anointing. I get calls all the time about the power of prayer clothes.

One I will share. About three monts ago I got an email from a pastor in Kagoma, Uganda, Africa. I was there last August in a service and I handed out prayer clothes that I had been wearing on my body while I was preaching. A few months later a woman, who had taken a prayer clothes, baby got violently sick. She took the child to the hospital who said there was not hope that the child was going to die. She took the child home and remembered the prayer clothe that I gave her. She boiled the clothe in water and put the water in the babies bottle. The moment that the bottle touched the child's lips the baby became instantly whole. PRAISE GOD for the anointing.

Meeting in Kagoma Uganda where prayer clothe was handed out
I took Rhonda out to eat at her favorite Mexican Resteraunt. She loves good Mexican Food. I also talked to a couple of preachers today. I try to network with as many men and women of God I can. I believe that is one of the greatest weaknesses in the area of what I am doing. There is so little networking! I think it is because most have the lone ranger mentality. I have asked people to go into a tent revival or a conference together but with no avail.

I don't understand but I guess many have their reasons. I pray I stay open to being used and not closed to ministering with others.

Monday I will start working on the RV and getting it ready for Camp Meeting at Christ for the World and then the revival at Texas Road Worship Center in Fort Smith, AR

My day started early and is ending late. It is about 3:00 am and I am just finishing most of the CD project I have about three more songs to record on the project.

Rhonda and I started out early this morning driving about 90 miles to Spiro, OK where we are thinking of putting up the gospel tent. We met with a friend of ours Brenda Jeffery. She is an incridible preacher and prophetess. She took me to look at some land and it was a great location.

Rhonda and I then went to Fort Smith to do some shopping and eat dinner. On the way back from Fort Smith which is about an hour and a half away from home. We stopped in Waldron and met with some friends for about and hour.

When I got back home Rhonda had to go to her home away from home (Wal-Mart)

When she got back I started recording again. Needless to say I am very tired.

I also talked to a friend about putting the gospel tent up at Branson, MO or around the Branson area. We would offer a nightly concert free of charge. Not long after that a dear friend of mine called from Pueblo CO about us putting up a tent the middle of July. The summer is really shaping up.

The middle of next week I will be going to Bobby Hogan's Anniversary Camp Meeting. Then I will spend the next week at Texas Road Worship Center where they will be in revival for that week.

If you would be interested in us coming and doing a tent revival in your area please contact us. Our email addy is located on our web page http://www.thesentones.org/

I did recieve a pleasant surprise. While I was working on the CD project I recieved a phone call from one of my spiritual sons in Uganda Africa. His name is Rock and he is working so hard to build the Kingdom of God. I have several pastors who would love for someone to sponsor their work in Africa. If you are interested please let me know.

Letters From a Revivalist
Sometimes I wonder where does time go. Today has went by so fast I am wondering where did it go. I know what David meant when he said that, "life is but a vapor."

Today I recorded more songs for our next music CD project. Some of the songs on this project is Preach the Word, If That Mountain Dont Move, Child of the Light, Did I Forget to Pray, How Great Thou Art, and I'm Still Holding On. Rhonda is going to record a song also, Feel the Nails. Three more songs and it will be a wrap.

Tomorrow I will be leaving for the Fort Smith area to start looking for some land to put up the tent. We want to start April 18th that is on a Friday night. Rhonda and I have been talking about putting our product on the internet. We have so many things that we sell on our table. Besides the five CD's that we sell that we have recorded over the past five years. We also have Christian T-Shirts. We also have anointing oil from Israel as well as DVD of services that we have preached. One of the most exciting things we will be adding in the next couple of weeks will be a CD of Smith Wigglesworth. It will be a three CD set of him ministering.

I also have one of the largest DVD libraries of AA Allen that I have seen. I am constantly adding more DVD's all the time. I also have some Jack Coe and CD's of great tent preachers.

A.A. Allen

I am also praying that there will be some doors opened for us to go and minister at some churches. We have churches that we go to every year, but we are praying for more to open up. If you are a pastor and would be interested in The Sent Ones coming and ministering at your church please contact me at apostletj@google.com and I will send you a DVD of a recent service.

I guess I better be getting in bed it is late and I have to get up early to head to Spiro, OK then to Fort Smith. I will let you know how it went on tomorrows blog

Letters From a Revivalist
http://www.thesentones.org/

PRAISE THE LORD! After trial and errorI finally got my digital studio to work. Today I have been so busy. When I woke up I knew I had to get the letters to our covenant partners out today. After printing, stuffing and licking envelopes it was time for church. I don't know about other full time evangelists or revivalists but I find it very important to attend church even when I am off the road. If I am not attending "The Country Church," I am attending, "Christ for the World" in Fort Smith, AR.

I did get to cut a couple of songs today. I also got two of the triplets, Colton and Faith, singing Jesus on the Main Line.

Colton loves to sing and everytime I sing when I preach he does the same. His favorite song is, "Let Revival Roll." The old saying, "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree" is true when it comes to Colton.

Colton singing at New Life Church in Wewoka, OK
I worked a little on the RV Camper. We need something bigger. I don't know what, but it needs a lot of storage. I am usually hauling our center pole for our Gospel Tent as well as the Peavy SP-5's in the RV. This makes it very cramped and I spend a lot of time getting stuff out of the camper just so we can make beds or clean the camper. But just as God supplied this camper, He will supply another one.
I am also trying to figure how to get the most out of Google Adsense. I know that whatever we make off of Adsense is going to bless many in other churches and other countries.
Its late and I have not read the Bible for today. Please pray that God will open doors for us to put up the tent across OK, MO, CO, and wherever else we need to go.

Letters From a Revivalist

This is the day that the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad in it. No matter how your day goes it is still the day that the Lord has made. I dreamed all night of wires I would need to make my Tascam US 122-L to work. What a miserable night!

They also sent a recording software Cubase. IT WILL NOT WORK. The advertisement said just hook it up and you have sound. RIGHT! Any ways I have messed with it most of the day and it does not work. I even tried to load the software into another computer that I have. That was even a bigger mess. I am praying that someone reads this can help me.

I am also in the process of sending out my monthly newsletter. We send out about 70 covenant partner letters. We love and appreciate our partners. They are very dear to Rhonda and I. I try to get them out by the 25th of each month and I am late this month. I will have them in the mail box by tomorrow evening.

I am becoming very excited about the tent meetings. I love preaching under the tent. The tent is a 40X40 it is not a huge tent but I have seen 60X120's with only 20 people in them and the preacher would start lowering the tent curtains so you couldnt see how few of people were under his tent.

If you have a low turnout in my tent it still looks good. (laugh out loud) We are wanting to purchase a 49X70. The amount to purchase a new one is about $6500.00 and that would be about half of my African mission trip. I guess I will hold off. I know that God is going to help us.

I know He has certian people that can take care of most of our ministry needs. I got a confirmation on some land today in Tahlequah, OK. We are planning on being there in June. We had a great tent revival there last year. Barry and Sandra Tucker helped us with the music and we usually had around 50 people a night with sometimes more.

I am also praying that God will move on a company or a person to give us a gas card. Fuel is becoming a burden to many ministries. I have a friend who is also a revivalist and in his last newsletter I got from him, he was stating that unless God intervenes he was not going to be able to continue what he is doing for the kingdom of God. He just could not continue to afford the price of gas.

Praise God for his power to overcome. Many are the afflictions of the righteous but God delivers them from them all.

Today was a good break for me. I have not preached as much as I would have liked at this point of the year. Rhonda and I resigned from River of Life Church, November of 2006. By the end of 2007 I had preached over 206 times. I was only at home 2.5 months last year.
This year I have preached 40 times and wanting more. It is amazing how ones calling drives them. I honestly know what the writer meant when he said, "I'd rather spend one day in His courts than thousands elsewhere."

God has blessed us greatly this year. We have been praying for a diesel truck and Rhonda wanted RED. I had a preacher friend take me to a car auction and I bid on a RED Ford F-250 and I won the bid. Rhonda was so happy it was RED.

The Red blood of Jesus Ford F-250.

Today I spent some time in the Word. I try to spend time in the Bible without looking for a sermon. I am on a 365 day Bible reading program.

I am getting ready to start our Gospel Tent season. I am also getting the RV ready for the road again. We try to keep it prepared at all times but there is a little work I have to do. I have had two blowouts in the past 4 months and both were on the same side and it took off the tire guards on the camper.

Tent Revival - Tahlequah, OK - July 2007

Apparently it had happend before because the other side is the same way. I told Rhonda at least they match. It did not enthuse her to say the least.

I also checked out some prices to fly to Uganda and Kenya Africa. This will be my third trip and I can't wait. My budget will triple this year because of all I will be doing. I will be holding at least 4 pastor conferences and several outside crusades.

Outdoor Crusade - Kagoma, Uganda

Most of the offerings that come in from this point will go towards the Africa Mission trip. My family goes without so others can recieve. I do appreciate their commitment to the call of God in my life. I know there is coming a day where it wont be so difficult to raise monies for Uganda.

The last thing I want to share is the frustration that I have faced today. I was suppose to start recording my new singing CD project, "Preach the Word." Unfortunatley I cannot get my laptop to work. It is very frustrating. The basic problem is I cant get the Tascam to work with the program that came with the Tascam. Tomorrow I will make a trip to Radio Shack. I wish they were open 24 hours I would have already got it done.

Letters From a Revivalist

Resurrection Sunday

Colton Faith Rebekah

I have never been much of a morning person because I love staying up in the wee hours of the morning working, praying, reading the Bible. preparing sermons and yes sometimes watching a good western.

Today was no different. I think when the alarm went off at 8:00 am I had been in bed about 3 hours. So the rush is on to get the triplets ready and then Rhonda and I take the rest of the time getting ourselves ready.

We have had a good revival at the Country Church. We have so many friends and family when we go there. Every service was filled with the love of Christ and the power of the Holy Ghost.

This morning I preached on the Power of the Ressurection. In short, the same overcoming power that raised Christ from the dead is still availabel to the Church today to overcome problems in every day life.
There were several there that had not been in church for years. When I gave the invitation to ask the Father for His help and to draw closer to Him at least 8 hands went up.
One never knows the eternal outcome by preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. What a privelage it is to get to preach the cross.
After services today we did the normal Easter dinner and the hunting of eggs with the triplets.
I made a few phone calls and we are planning for a tent revival in Spiro, OK in the middle of April. I am also getting ready for a friends camp meeting in Fort Smith, AR. This camp meeting is a powerful and prophetic meeting. People will come from all over the world. My friend Bobby Hogan has two every year. I will be preaching at the summer camp meeting, fourth of July weekend.
Tomorrow I will be going into the studio to start working on a new singing CD project, I am calling, "Preach the Word." I am also hoping to finish this week my new book, "When Faith touches the Anointing."

Letters from a Revivalist

(This picture taken somewhere between Dallas TX and San Antonio, TX)

Today I spent most of the day in much needed prayer. The truth is sometimes I get so busy doing Kingdom business I forget the most important thing. Spending time with the Father.

Rhonda is SOOOOO happy to be home. She misses it a lot when we are gone. When we go on the road we live in a 28 X 8 space that we call an RV. We have had this Camper now for 4 years and are praying for something bigger with slide outs. I know my God shall supply all of my needs according to His riches in glory.

Rhonda and the triplets spent all day at her moms house. The triplets love their ma maw. When we arrive they spend more time with ma maw than at home.

We had a pretty good service tonight. The singing was good and people really entered in. Yeah I know every service is suppose to be good. But their not! A lot of times people want you to move them or prophecy over them and if you don't they just set there. In a recent meeting in Colorado a woman told me that I must not have liked her because I hadn't given her a word. Things people come up with.

Back to the service, I preached a message I titled, "Preach Jesus." I won't get into the sermon but there is a lot of truth just in the title.

The church we are holding services at is called, "The Country Church." The Pastors are Jerry and Linda Watts. Yes as I have stated before they are my in laws. Jerry is one of the most gentle men I know. He has a great love for the move of God.

Pastors Jerry & Linda Watts - Mena, AR

The Country Church Sanctuary

There were many who came up for prayer. A man was delivered from tobacco last night, and a couple came forward for prayer to get pregnant. I believe she will conceive in the name of Jesus.

I get such a thrill to pray for people and watch God do a work right in front of your eyes. We serve an awesome and powerful God. I have to get ready for the mornings service which is Resurrection Sunday.

Praise God He is Risen!

OK i admit it I love to preach. Yeah I know your a revivalist so you have to like to preach. If you really believe that then you ought to preach in some of the places that I have had to preach in. I still like to preach. One of my favorite times was when I was in Uganda and a factory allowed me to come in and preach to their workers. I preached twice and wow the Word of God changed the lives of so many.

We are currently at home preaching at "The Country Church." The pastors are Jerry and Linda Watts (my inlaws). When Rhonda and I resigned as pastors a year and half ago we turned the church over to her parents and I must say they have done a great job.

Though I am the apostle over the church, I love to preach there. Tonight we had around 30 people present. We are having an Easter Miracle Service this weekend. I will finish up Sunday AM. I preached tonight, How To Change Your Destiny. If you want the notes on that service please email me. apostletj@gmail.com

There was great singing. My dad and mom drove from Tahlequah and my dad sung tonight. I dont get to play or sing with him much but when I do I am always blessed. He has taught me a lot and I appreciate his abilities.

There was several there who needed to be delivered and many came forward to release God's destiny in their lives. I praise God for His anointing to change the schemes of satan and turn our greatest defeats into victories.

I hope to keep these blogs short and sweet so many will read them.

Please pray for my trip to Uganda I wont be leaving until the end of November 2008, but there is over $12000.00 to still raise and arrangements to be made.

Please read yesterdays post to understand why I am writing these posts everyday.

Besides the every other week postings I feel the need to share a blog of everday events of a revivalist. I hope that in ways it will show what goes on in a life of a family that is on the road doing their best to serve the Lord.

I will try to be candid and truthful to share the victories as well as near disasters. I pray that many people will start reading and sharing with others. I will try to be clear and let you into our lives as much as I can. No I wont share any arguments between Rhonda and I LOL.

I will share frustrations, the places we have visited and many of the miracles that we have seen taken place. Please feel free to leave comments. It is a very difficult life even for those who are called. With statistics saying that 15 ministers leave the ministry every day I can truly understand why.

Even as much as I love serving the Lord it can be very difficult. Even the past two weeks I have been fighting an illness as well as a depressing feeling. I know and quote often I am more than a coqueror through Him that loves me.

So please join me as I share the road and the power of Christ as I journey through the world preaching the precious name of Jesus Christ.

I will also try to take more pictures to share. Of course there will be a lot of shots of the triplets.

The next blog you will read will be a blog of tonight service in Mena, Ar at the Country Church.

Rhonda and I thank you so much for your prayers and support. Please keep in touch. TJ
